Air Flow & Air Velocity Calibration
ISOLAB has the capability for traceable calibration of air velocity and air flow since 2005 by using a universal wind tunnel with the capacity of up to 20 meters/second air velocity.
Measuring Total and Static Pressure
A tube placed in a duct facing the direction of the flow will measure the total pressure in the duct. Static pressure can only be determined accurately by measuring it in a manner such that the velocity pressure has no influence on the measurement at all. This is carried out by measuring it through a small hole at the wall of the duct or a series of holes positioned at right angles to the flow in a surface lying parallel to the lines of flow.
ASHRAE Standard 62 Conformance
Our calibration and measurement results meet the requirements of ASHRAE Standard 62 (Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality), ensuring that your airflow systems are in line with recognised guidelines for optimum performance.
Universal Wind Tunnel
Our universal wind tunnel is meticulously crafted to eliminate any loss of air source, ensuring consistent and dependable results. By employing the Pitot Tube Pressure Principle, combined with static pressure measurements inside the wind tunnel column and variable flow velocity pressure, we achieve precise and trustworthy airflow readings.
